The Edgbaston Priory Club hosted a very successful Art Show and Sale on Thursday 21 November 2013 in association with luxury car company Bentley Birmingham.

All profits from the event went to the Celebration Statue of former West Bromwich Albion Legends, Cyrille Regis, Brendon Batson and Laurie Cunningham.

The show featured the original work of Paul Trevillion, perhaps the greatest sports illustrator in the world and the man who created the comic character Roy of the Rovers.

The catalogue of original work on show from Paul Trevillion included studies of Andy Murray, George Best, Ian Botham, Mo Farah, Pele, Jack Nicklaus, Jessica Ennis plus a very special tribute to Sachin Tendulkar,

The show also featured a wide range of work from international sculptor Graham Ibbeson including Marquette’s of Laurel and Hardy, Freddie Trueman, Dickie Bird and his world famous statue of Eric Morecambe.

Guests were joined for the evening by a host of celebrities including Cyrille Regis, Brendon Batson and the legendary cricket umpire Dickie Bird.
